Stay tuned for new performance dates

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the Sunday Jazz residency at Maykadeh Restaurant. While I’m grateful for the past 14 months of enriching experiences, I’m also excited to embark on new musical adventures!
A huge thank you to my incredible bandmates, Dave Austin and Bob Blankenship and the amazing Maykadeh team, and the special guest singers who made each show unique. Most importantly, thank you to my supportive fans, friends and family.

Aids Emergency Relief Fund Christmas Dinner

My friend and producer, Kathy Holly, invited me to join her and pianist David Baioni and perform at the Aids Emergency Relief Fund Christmas Eve Dinner the afternoon of December 24th.  We were the first act of the show and were introduced  by none other than a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence!  The event took place at the War Memorial Veterans Building and had about 1000 people in attendance.  It was a heartwarming experience and  gift  for me to be able to participate in this way.  Thanks, Kathy!

    Debra Mugnani sings in a style that is both sophisticated and emotionally direct. Her interpretations of the Great American Songbook show a deep love and respect for the material while adding a delightful spark of personality. Debra’s influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Carmen McCrae and Morgana King. A native of San Francisco, Debra has also been greatly influenced and inspired by vocalists and vocal instructors she has been fortunate enough to study with; Kitty Margolis, Faith Winthrop, Jesse Foster, Madeline Eastman and Dena De Rose.
